Section 249A.42 - Overpayment - limitations periods1. An administrative action to recover an overpayment to a provider shall be commenced within five years of the date the overpayment was incurred. For the purposes of this subsection, "incurred" means the date the medical assistance claim was paid, or the date any applicable reconciliation was completed, whichever is later.2.
