The following members of the state military forces may administer oaths for the purposes of military administration including military justice, and affidavits may be taken for those purposes before persons having the general powers of a notary public as provided in chapter 9B:
1. All summary courts-martial.2. Adjutants, assistant adjutants, acting adjutants, and personnel adjutants.4. Staff judge advocates and legal officers, and acting or assistant staff judge advocates and legal officers.5. The president, military judge, trial counsel, and assistant trial counsel for general and special courts-martial.6. The president and the counsel for the court of any court of inquiry.7. Officers designated to take a deposition.8. Persons detailed to conduct an investigation.9.
