Section 34-27C-6 - Insurance requirements(a) Contract security company licensees shall file certificates of insurance with the board certifying coverage. The minimum amount of coverage shall be two million dollars ($2,000,000) for bodily or personal injury and two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for property damage. There shall be included endorsements for general liability, personal injury, and workers' compensation.(b) An insurance policy may not be modified or cancelled without 30 days' prior notice to the board. The insurance company shall be licensed in this state, or in the state in which the insurance is purchased, with the name of a designated agent for service filed in the office of the Secretary of State.Ala.
