The trial counsel shall serve or cause to be served upon the accused a copy of the charges. No indvidual, against the individual's objection, may be brought to trial before a general court-martial case within a period of 45 days after the service of charges upon the accused, or in a special court-martial, within a period of 30 days after the service of charges upon the accused.
