Section 27-12A-3 - Insurance fraud in the first degree(a) An act prohibited by Section 27-12A-2, in cases where the loss or potential loss exceeds one thousand dollars ($1,000), constitutes insurance fraud in the first degree.(b) Insurance fraud in the first degree is a Class B felony.Ala.
