Section 37967 - Failure to pay extraction surcharge when due

If an operator of a groundwater extraction facility fails to pay the extraction surcharge when due, the district shall charge and collect a late penalty at the rate of 1¹/₂ percent each month, or portion thereof, on the delinquent amount of the extraction surcharge.
