Section 15312.1 - Penalty for employer that that allows or requires employee to operate commercial motor vehicle in violation of law pertaining to railroad crossings(a) An employer that knowingly allows or requires an employee to operate a commercial motor vehicle in violation of a federal, state, or local law or regulation pertaining to railroad crossings is, upon conviction, subject to a civil penalty of not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000).(b) This section shall become operative on September 20, 2005.Added by Stats 2004 ch 952 (AB 3049),s 25, eff. 1/1/2005, op. 9/20/2005.
