Section 1512 - Interference with exercise of right(a) An employer shall not interfere with, restrain, or deny the exercise or the attempt to exercise a right established by this part.(b) An employer shall not discharge, fine, suspend, expel, discipline, or in any other manner discriminate against an employee who does either of the following: (1) Exercises a right provided under this part.(2) Opposes a practice made unlawful by this part.Added by Stats 2010 ch 646 (SB 1304),s 1, eff. 1/1/2011.
