Section 65080.02 - Traffic signal optimization plan(a) A city located within the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission may develop and implement a traffic signal optimization plan intended to reduce travel times, the number of stops, and fuel use.(b) The Department of Transportation and a city that develops a traffic signal optimization plan pursuant to subdivision (a) shall coordinate on any adjustments to traffic signals owned or operated by the department.Added by Stats 2019 ch 633 (AB 1633),s 1, eff. 1/1/2020.
