Section 15431 - Authority continued in state government; exercise of powers deemed essential public function

The California Health Facilities Authority is continued in state government as the California Health Facilities Financing Authority. The authority constitutes a public instrumentality, and the exercise by the authority of the powers conferred by this part shall be deemed and held to be the performance of an essential public function.
