Section 17506 - [Effective 1/1/2025] Preservation of list of new resident voters(a) The elections official shall preserve the list of new resident voters voting pursuant to Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 3400) of Division 3 for 22 months from the date of the election.(b) This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2027, and as of that date is repealed, unless a later enacted statute that is enacted before January 1, 2027, deletes or extends that day.Amended by Stats 2024 ch 109 (AB 2582),s 11, eff. 1/1/2025.Enacted by Stats. 1994, Ch. 920, Sec. 2.This section is set out more than once due to postponed, multiple, or conflicting amendments.
