Section 23434 - Issuance of new club license to club which is not nonprofit organization prohibited; volunteer action required(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of this division, on and after the effective date of this section, no new club license shall be issued to any club which is not a nonprofit organization.(b) On and after the effective date of this section, no club license shall be issued to a nonprofit corporation pursuant to a law enacted after the effective date of this section unless the nonprofit corporation engages in at least some volunteer action for the community of which it is a part.Ca.
