Section 27-14-1801 - Penalty(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to display a placard except as provided in this subchapter.(b) A person who violates any of the provisions of this subchapter or any of the rules promulgated in this subchapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined: (1) Five hundred dollars ($500) for the first offense;(2) One thousand dollars ($1,000) for the second offense; and(3) One thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) for the third and each subsequent offense.Acts 1935, No. 183, § 6; Pope's Dig., § 6626; A.S.A. 1947, § 75-234; Acts 2009, No. 318, § 1.
