Section 20-9-213 - License required - Administration by State Board of Health(a) No hospital, recuperation center, or related institution shall be established, conducted, or maintained in this state without obtaining a license.(b) The State Board of Health may provide, by properly promulgating rules, for the issuance of a recuperation center license.(c) The Department of Health may provide, by properly promulgating rules, for the issuance of permanent type licenses, subject to revocation.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 1832, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1961, No. 414, § 19; 1965, No. 434, § 1; 1971, No. 258, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 82-345.
