Section 17-104-309 - Investigation of complaints(a) The State Board of Health shall adopt rules concerning the investigation of a complaint filed with the Department of Health. The rules adopted under this section shall: (1) Ensure that complaints are not dismissed without appropriate consideration; and(2) Ensure that the person who filed the complaint has an opportunity to explain the allegations made in the complaint.(b) The department shall dispose of all complaints in a timely manner.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 1670, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1999, No. 888, § 16.
