Section 17-37-207 - License classification(a) The license shall specify the classification of work in which the license holder is authorized to engage and shall show the name and address of the person, firm, or corporation to which it is issued and the name of the licensed or qualified operator, if he or she is someone other than the license holder.(b)(1) The license holder shall do only the kind of work specified in the classification for which he or she has been licensed, regardless of whether for compensation or not.(2) Any licensee performing any work in any classification for which he or she has not been licensed shall suffer invalidation of the license in any other classification.(c)(1) The State Plant Board may classify or subclassify commercial and noncommercial licenses to be issued under this chapter as may be necessary for the effective administration and enforcement of the chapter.(2) The classifications may include, but not be limited to: (A) Industrial, institutional, structural, and health-related;(D) Noncommercial applicators.(3) Separate subclassifications may be specified as to methods used by any licensee to apply pesticides or to the use of pesticides to control insects and plant diseases, rodents, or weeds.(4) Each classification shall be subject to separate testing procedures and requirements.Acts 1975, No. 488, § 4; A.S.A. 1947, § 77-1804.
