Section 14-45-106 - Mayor of an incorporated town(a) The mayor of an incorporated town shall perform all duties required by the ordinances of the city and shall give bond and security in any amount to be ascertained and approved by the city council.(b) In addition for his or her services as mayor, the council, by ordinance, may make proper allowance for, and payment of, compensation.Acts 1875, No. 1, § 45, p. 1; C. & M.
