Section 10-3-1321 - Meetings - Intergovernmental cooperation(a) The Senate Interim Committee on Children and Youth shall meet upon call by the Chair of the Senate Interim Committee on Children and Youth, or at such other times as may be provided in the rules of the Senate Interim Committee on Children and Youth, or upon written call by any five (5) of its members.(b) The Senate Interim Committee on Children and Youth shall cooperate with the Council of State Governments, the Southern Legislative Conference, the National Conference of State Legislatures and its committees, and other appropriate conferences or associations of public officials concerned with the problems of children and youth for the purpose of coordinating the activities and resources of the legislative departments of the sister states to assist the Congress of the United States and the federal government in coordinating state and regional programs for the safety, health, development, and problems of children and youth.Acts 1987, No. 517, § 5; 1997, No. 312, § 12.
