Section 32-1639 - Licensing out-of-state practical nursesA. The board may issue a license to practice as a practical nurse to an applicant who has been duly licensed as a practical nurse, or licensed to perform similar services and duties under a different title, in another state or territory of the United States, if in the opinion of the board the applicant meets qualifications required of a licensed practical nurse in this state.B. The board shall not issue a license to practice practical nursing to an applicant who has one or more felony convictions and who has not received an absolute discharge from the sentences for all felony convictions three or more years before the date of filing an application.Amended by L. 2016, ch. 282,s. 5, eff. 8/5/2016.
