In this article, unless the context otherwise requires:
1. "Expulsion" means the permanent withdrawal of the privilege of attending a school unless the governing board reinstates the privilege of attending the school.2. "Suspension" means the temporary withdrawal of the privilege of attending a school for a specified period of time.
