Rule 4.2 - Requirement of Good Moral Character(a)Certificate of good standing. - In order to be admitted to practice law in West Virginia, the applicant must be in good standing in every state in which he or she has been admitted to practice and maintains an active status and must submit evidence of that standing. (b)Proof of good moral character. - In order to be eligible for admission, the applicant must show that he or she is possessed of good moral character and is mentally and emotionally stable. (c)Affidavits of good character. - Each applicant shall present the affidavit of at least two attorneys at law evidencing the applicant's good character and compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct.
