Appointee Defined. An appointee, for purposes of the Supreme Court order effective April 1, 1994 is a person chosen by the judge who takes his or her position by virtue of an order signed by the judge. An appointee does not include an attorney hired by a personal representative or guardian whose fees must be approved by the court pursuant to the probate code.
