Section 11 - Governmental Entity as Party(a) In this Section "governmental entity" is the State of Tennessee, a political subdivision of the State, or an agency of the State.(b) The disqualification prescribed in Section 9, Subsection (a), applies to a collaborative lawyer representing a party that is a governmental entity.(c) After a collaborative family law process concludes, another lawyer in a law firm with which the collaborative lawyer is associated may represent a governmental entity in the collaborative family law matter or a matter related to the collaborative family law matter if: (1) the collaborative family law participation agreement authorizes that representation; and(2) the collaborative lawyer is isolated from any participation in the collaborative family law matter or a matter related to the collaborative family law matter through procedures within the law firm that are reasonably calculated to isolate the collaborative lawyer from such participation as set out in Tenn.
