Immediately on the filing of an order the clerk of the appellate court shall serve by mail notice of its filing on each party to the proceeding, together with a copy of any written reasons respecting the order if not explicitly stated in the notice, and shall make a record of the mailing.

Advisory Commission Comments.
This rule imposes a duty upon the clerk of the appellate court to notify all parties immediately upon the entry of an order by the appellate court. The purpose of this rule is to keep the parties up-to-date with regard to the disposition of the appeal or other proceeding before the appellate court.
