Rule 530 - Duties And Powers Of A Bail Agency(A) The Administrative Office of York County Courts (AOYCC) is authorized to establish and maintain a bail agency to monitor and assist defendants released on bail pursuant to Pa.R.Crim.P 530 and to assist and advise the court with issues relating to bail.(B) The AOYCC is authorized to promulgate policies and procedures necessary for the effective and efficient operation of the bail agency.(C) The AOYCC may establish the bail agency as a subdivision within the York County Department of Probation Services, or as a new and separate department under the jurisdiction of the AOYCC.(D) Included among the duties and responsibilities of the bail agency is the administration of the percentage cash bail program authorized by York.
