Rule 440 - Service Of Copies Of Legal Papers(a) Copies of all legal papers other than original process that are filed in an action may be served upon an attorney for a party by:(1) placing the paper in a box for the attorney in the Office of the Prothonotary, if the attorney has requested a box; or(2) electronic transmission, if the parties agree thereto or an electronic mail address is included on an appearance or prior legal paper filed with the court in the action.(b) The attorney for a party may withdraw the consent to receiving service of copies of legal papers in an action by filing a written statement of record with the Prothonotary. The written statement must set forth a mailing address for service and be served upon all parties.Amended effective 1/1/2022
