Rule 227.1 - Post-Trial Relief(a) A copy of any Motions for Post-Trial Relief shall be delivered to the trial judge, the official court reporter and the adverse party within twenty-four (24) hours after filing them with the Prothonotary. Counsel shall assign specific reasons for each motion and shall state whether a partial or full transcript of the testimony is required and set forth the reason therefore. Upon receipt of the post-trial motions the trial judge may determine what portions of the testimony shall be transcribed.(b) In motions requesting a new trial, particular reasons shall be assigned; general reasons will not be considered. Reasons relating to rulings on evidence shall be separately designated.
