Rule 315 - Bills Of Costs(a) Bills of costs must contain the names of the witnesses, the dates of their attendance, the number of miles actually traveled by them, and the place from which mileage is claimed. The bill shall be verified by the affidavit of the party filing it or by his/her agent or attorney that the witnesses named were actually present in court, and that, in his opinion, they were material witnesses. A copy of the bill of costs shall be served on opposing counsel.(b) The party upon whom a bill of costs has been served may, within ten (10) days after such service, file exception thereto, and the issue shall be determined by the court. Failure to file exception within ten (10) days shall be deemed a waiver of all objections.Adopted July 19, 2004, effective 30 days after publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
