Rule 5.10-2 - Public Sale. Notice(a) After grant of a petition for public sale of real property, notice of the time and place of the proposed sale and a description, stating the size and location of the property to be sold, shall be given by:(1) Advertisement once a week for three (3) successive weeks in accordance with the requirements of Leh. O.C. 4.2-1 and 4.2-2, provided that if the property is located in a county other than Lehigh County then by advertisement as aforesaid in the legal periodical and in a newspaper of general circulation published in the county in which the property is located;(2) Posting at a conspicuous place on the real property to be sold and at three (3) different public places in the vicinity of the real property; and(3) Regular mail to all interested parties, including the Attorney General of the state in which any charitable party in interest is domiciled in accordance with the requirements of Pa. O.C. 4.4.(b) All returns of notice shall conform to the pertinent provisions of Leh. O.C. 4.2-3 and be filed with the Clerk on or before the date set for confirmation of the sale.Amended effective 9/1/2016.
