Rule 2205*(a)-*(b) - Notice To Persons Entitled To Damages-Service(a)* The notice prescribed in Pa. R.C.P. 2205 shall name the decedent, and state the Court, term and number of the action, and that if the person to whom it is addressed objects to the authority of the plaintiff to maintain the action, such person may petition the Court to remove the plaintiff and to substitute as a new plaintiff any person entitled by law to recover damages in the action or a personal representative of the decedent.(b)* An affidavit of service of such notice shall be filed in the prothonotary's office within five days after service or as soon thereafter as the registered or certified mail return receipt, signed by the person to whom it is addressed, is returned to the plaintiff.Buck.
