Rule 8000.7 - Hearing by Hearing Officer. Report(a) The Court Administrator shall schedule any proceedings before the hearing officer and shall cause notice to be provided to all the parties in accordance with FORM 8000.7.(b) A record shall be made of all proceedings before the hearing officer. Any requests for transcription shall be in accordance with the Pennsylvania Rules of Judicial Administration governing court reporting and transcripts.(c) In an action which has been referred to a hearing officer, the hearing officer's report shall include findings of fact, conclusions of law, and a recommended disposition of the case.(d) The hearing officer's report and recommendation shall be filed, and the Prothonotary shall serve a Notice and copy to all counsel of record and any unrepresented party by regular mail in accordance with FORM 8000.7(d).(e) Any exhibits admitted into evidence before the hearing officer are part of the court record, and shall be maintained with the official court record in the appropriate filing office.Amended effective 3/1/2024
