Rule 2039B - Content of Petition

A petition for leave to compromise, settle or discontinue an action in which a minor is a party, or an action in which a minor has an interest shall set forth:

(1) the facts out of which the cause of action arose;

(2) the elements of damage sustained;

(3) all expenses incurred or to be incurred, including the counsel fees requested;

(4) the facts relied upon by the adverse party; and,

(5) all circumstances relevant to the propriety of granting the petition including any significant medical reports and records.
