(a) Officers of the Board who, because of their office, must occupy a suite or special room other than the standard room occupied by most board members will be entitled to be reimbursed for the extra expense. Members of the Board who host board dinners will be reimbursed the actual cost of the dinner regardless of whether it is held in the board member's home or at a restaurant.(b) The Bar will reimburse the actual expenses of the President and/or President-elect and their spouses or partners and the Chief Executive Officer, to any out-of-state conference that is included in the annual budget. Other attending board members are not eligible for any reimbursement unless specifically authorized by the Board. Each year the Bar will reimburse the actual expenses of the President-elect and spouse or partner and the Chief Executive Officer, to attend the ABA Bar Leadership Conference or a comparable conference.(c) The expense of gifts by the Board to its retiring members is a budgeted expense.Adopted effective 4/14/2023.
