Small claims cases shall be subject to mediation, except for good cause acceptable to the Court. The Small Claims office will summarize the process and assign cases out for mediation on a specific date. The court may decline to consider any small claims matter until notified by the mediator that the matter has proceeded through the mediation process without resolution. Cases that do not reach resolution shall be scheduled for trial at a later date.
