Rule 6.012 - SETTLEMENT CONFERENCESA settlement conference may be set in every civil case. The settlement conference judge will not preside at the trial if any party objects thereto. At the settlement conference:
(1) No information disclosed will be revealed by the settlement judge or by any of the parties to the settlement to the judge or jury who will thereafter try the case.(2) Parties and others with authority to settle the case must appear in person unless they reside out of state and would therefore need to be available by telephone.Amended effective 2/1/2024.
