Rule 4.081 - APPEARANCE BY SIMULTANEOUS ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION(1) An in-custody defendant may appear by simultaneous electronic transmission pursuant to UTCR 4.080 at the following hearings, unless otherwise prohibited by law: (e) Plea on a misdemeanor or at arraignment;(g) Restitution hearings; and(h) Post-judgment hearings.(2) Unless otherwise ordered, if an appearance by simultaneous electronic transmission cannot occur due to technical difficulties, the court may reschedule the appearance for a later date or order an alternative type of simultaneous electronic transmission.Amended effective 2/1/2024.
