Stipulated or ex parte matters are heard daily at the main courthouse from 8:00 - 8:15 am, and not otherwise except in case of emergency. The court must be notified by 2:00 pm the day prior to the date the party wishes to present a matter ex parte. Notification to the court can be made by email to exparte.notice@ojd.state.or.us. The notice must include an attached copy of what will be presented to the court the following morning. If the matter has been assigned to a judge, the notification shall include that information for a determination by the court on whether the party or attorney of record should either deliver the ex parte order to the assigned judge or contact the judicial assistant to make arrangements to make presentation to the assigned judge.
Domestic relations stipulated or ex parte orders as appropriate pursuant to SLR 8.041 may be presented by a party or attorney of record having knowledge of the subject matter at the family court service window. On Monday ex parte is held at 8:30 am Tuesday through Friday of each week at 8:15 am, and not otherwise except in case of emergency.
