Rule 11.005 - APPEARANCE IN JUVENILE COURT DEPENDENCY CASES(1) A parent who is served with a summons in a child dependency case shall appear personally in court at the time and place specified in the summons for hearings on the allegations of the petition.(2) A parent who fails to appear at a hearing specified in the summons, or one that they received proper notice of shall be subject to a prima facie hearing which may result in entry of a jurisdictional, dispositional, or other order and/or judgment granting the relief and/or services recommended by the petitioning party and/or agency.Josephine Supp. L.
