Rule 11.021 - In Camera Review(1) Parties seeking in camera review of documents in juvenile dependency or delinquency cases shall file a motion with the Juvenile Court Clerk's Office describing the records to be reviewed, the information the party seeks to obtain from the records, and the legal authority for the in camera review. Documents submitted for in camera review shall be directed to the Juvenile Clerk's Office.(2) Motions for in camera review of documents in juvenile dependency or delinquency cases shall be set for a hearing in due course, unless there is an assigned judge, in which case the motion will be scheduled on that judge's calendar.(3) Upon Order for in camera review, the custodian of the records/documents included shall deliver them to the court in a sealed envelope or box with a copy of the order affixed to the outside, made to the attention of the judge who signed the order. (4)In camera documents shall be sealed and retained in the records of the court in the event there is an appeal. After the statutory appeal period has passed, the court will follow local procedures to notify the submitting party to retrieve their original documents from the court or destroy the records if unclaimed.Jackson Supp. L.
