Rule 13 - Extension or shortening of time(a) All motions for extensions of time shall be made upon 5 days' notice to all counsel. Such motion shall be made to the judge who is to try the case.(b) Except as provided in this subsection, no exparte application for extension of time will be granted. Upon presentation of a motion for extension, if a satisfactory showing is made to the judge that a good faith effort has been made to notify opposing counsel of the motion, and the judge finds good cause there for, the judge may order exparte a temporary extension pending a determination of the motion.(c) For good cause shown, the judge who is to try the case, or if the judge is not in the courthouse during re gular judicial hours, the chief judge, may make an exparte order shortening time upon a satisfactory showing to the judge that a good faith effort has been made to notify the opposing counsel of the motion.Nev.
