Rule 10.05 - Terms Of Elective And Appointive Members - Vacancies - Oath(a) Elective and appointive members of any commission shall hold office for the terms for which they were elected or appointed and until their respective successors are duly chosen. However, no member, except one serving out the unexpired term of another, shall be appointed or elected as his or her own successor. When a vacancy occurs in the office of any elective or appointive member of a commission, such vacancy shall be filled by election or appointment, as the case may be, for the unexpired term.(b) All elective and appointive members of any commission shall, before entering upon their duties, take an oath to support the state and federal constitutions, to demean themselves faithfully while in office, and to not disclose or reveal any information they obtain as a result of any matter brought before the commission. Such oath of office shall be administered by the chair of the commission to each member before that member can carry out his or her duties under these rules.Mo. R. Gov. Bar Jud. 10.05
