Rule 82.05 - [Effective until 1/1/2025] Restrictions on Legal Personnel After Employment by a Court(a) Supreme Court. In addition to any restrictions on practice imposed by Rule 4, a person who has been employed as a lawyer, law clerk, research attorney, or legal assistant by this Court shall not appear at counsel table or sign any filing in any case before this Court for a period of six months after leaving this Court's employment.(b) Court of Appeals. In addition to any restrictions on practice imposed by Rule 4, a person who has been employed as a lawyer, law clerk, research attorney, or legal assistant by a district of the court of appeals shall not appear at counsel table or sign any filing in any case before that district for a period of six months after leaving that district's employment.Adopted Dec. 17, 1991, eff. 7/1/1992.
