The Rules in this Chapter do not apply to:
(a) the recording or broadcasting of court proceedings by the court or by court personnel acting within the scope of their official duties;(b) the electronic recording of court proceedings by an official court reporter as a backup for the stenographic recording of the proceeding;(c) investiture or ceremonial proceedings, provided that the presiding judge may regulate the presence and use of cameras and recording and broadcasting equipment at the proceeding; or(d) the use of electronic, photographic, or recording equipment approved by the court to take the testimony of a child victim under Code, Criminal Procedure Article, § 11-303. This Rule is derived from former Rule 16-109 b 7 (2016).
