Rule 510 - Waiver of Privilege by Voluntary Disclosure(a) General rule. A person who has a privilege under these rules waives the privilege if the person or the person's predecessor while holding the privilege voluntarily discloses or consents to the disclosure of any significant part of the privileged matter. Maine Rule 510 has been restyled in accordance with the federal restyling conventions, and, as part of this process, the Committee has proposed some minor, nonsubstantive changes to clarify the Rule.
