Rule 1-6.02 - Ruling on Application of Court FeesA. The court's ruling on an Application for Waiver of Court Fees shall be made according to standards set forth in 735 ILCS 5/5-105.B. After reviewing the Application, the court may rule on the Application or may set the Application for hearing requiring the applicant to appear in person. The court may also order the applicant to bring to the hearing copies of specified documents in support of the Application. Failure to appear at the hearing when so ordered constitutes grounds for denying or striking the Application.C. If the court denies the Application or a partial waiver is granted, the Order will state a date by which the necessary fees, costs, and charges must be paid. Failure to pay within the time and manner ordered may result in a dismissal of the applicant's claims or defenses.Ill. R. Cir. Ct. Lake Cnty. 1-6.02
