Rule 2.02 - FILING OF DOCUMENTS(a) Any document to be filed in any criminal cause or proceeding may be filed in person, by mail, private messenger, authorized electronic filing service, or parcel delivery service.(b) Any document to be filed in a civil cause or proceeding, except as set for the 2.02(e) below, must be filed electronically through an approved electronic filing vendor. Paper filings may be accepted pursuant to Illinois Supreme Court Rule 9(c).(c) Any document to be filed in any cause or proceeding pending in the Traffic Division may be filed either at 505 North County Farm Road, Wheaton, Illinois, through an authorized electronic filing service, or at the court where the cause or proceeding is pending.(d) Pleadings, motions, and other documents filed with the Clerk and not served in compliance with Supreme Court Rules 11 and 12 shall be stricken.(e) Any annual or biennial report or accounting to be filed in a guardianship case may be filed in person, by mail, private messenger, authorized electronic filing service, or parcel delivery service.Ill.
