Rule 7 - Enlargement of Cases Assignable(a)Civil Cases. The administrative district judge of a judicial district may by order enlarge the categories of cases assignable under Rule 5(c) as to the magistrates of the judicial district or of a county within the district, or as to specified magistrates.(b)Criminal Cases. The administrative district judge of a judicial district may by order enlarge the categories of cases assignable under Rule 5.1 as to the magistrates of the judicial district or of a county within the district, or as to specified magistrates.Adopted December 2, 2015, effective 7/1/2016; amended effective 7/1/2017; amended December 14, 2017, effective 1/1/2018.
