Rule 7.2 - Docket or Text-Only Orders

An order, but not a final judgment or decree, may be issued by the court as a text-only entry on the docket, without an attached document. Such entry shall include the judge's electronic signature (e.g., /s/ Joan Justice, Judge). The judge's electronic signature is valid for all purposes under any of the Hawai'i Rules of Court and official and binding on the parties.
