Records shall not be removed from the legal custody of the Clerk or the Administrative Director except (a) upon order of the court or agency for which the record is maintained, (b) upon appeal, (c) upon order of the supreme court or intermediate court of appeals, (d) in accordance with rules governing retention of exhibits and transcripts, or (e) in accordance with retention schedules adopted by the supreme court.
