A person or entity may seek review of a denial or grant of access to a record by petitioning the supreme court, in accordance with Rule 21 of the Hawai'i Rules of Appellate Procedure. If the record is confidential, the Clerk of the trial court or ADLRO, upon notice of the petition, shall provide notice of the petition to all parties to the case, shall file a copy of the Clerk's certificate of service on each party, and shall designate the certificate of service as confidential in the record of proceeding before the supreme court.
